Capturing the Spirit of St Martins…

Stories of shipwrecks, smuggling, sunshine and storms have flowed in the blood of the fisherman and farmers of St Martins, and shared over a glass or two in the drinking houses. SC Dogs have distilled these stories with each bottle is dedicated to the history of one of our down sea dogs.

Named after Bruce Christopher, an honest man as warm in character as the honey of the bees he kept.

A premium, small-batch rum gently distilled and aged on site at the Isles of Scilly’s first and only rum distillery, infused with local Tresco honey and pure Scillonian water. Sweetness of honey with lingering citrus and a tang of the sea, steeped in history.

Sea Dogs returning home from to the Isles of Scilly from far flung corners of the world would bring back seeds which were planted in the Abbey Gardens, from New Zealand flame tree, Mexican Agave, South African Aloe to the local Heather - which the bees use as exotic nectar to make their flavoursome honey.
