Crafted from molasses in a column still, it undergoes a unique maturation journey—three years in tropical Guatemalan ex-rum casks, followed by eight years in ex-Scotch whisky barrels. This careful ageing process defines its exceptional character.

DARSA, Guatemala’s top rum producer, famed for Botran and Ron Zacapa, benefits from the Hondo River region’s humid, tropical climate. At 185 metres above sea level, this environment accelerates maturation, resulting in light, medium-bodied rums with a distinct character and moderate sweetness.

Nose – Luscious notes of cacao and milk chocolate intertwine with a subtle, toasted nuttiness and gentle aromas of winter spices.

Palate – Velvety, with rich chocolate flavours, complemented by notes of coffee and nutty tones of walnuts and toasted nuts. Dry red apples and a subtle hint of spices follow with a satisfying, lingering finish.
