  • You’re in luck! All orders should be with you in 1-2 working days if ordered before 8 pm! If you are posting outside mainland Britain it may take a bit longer.

  • There is a growing demand for more interesting rums like pineapple and cherry spiced rums at the moment, but it really depends on what you like, Maybe try a honey rum if you have a sweet tooth, or vanilla tends to give a nice smooth finish.

  • No problem! If you purchased rum as a gift and are posting directly to them, they won’t see any prices as we don’t post invoices to try and minimise our packaging. As the purchaser, you will receive a digital invoice via email.

  • We currently deliver to anywhere in the UK including Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and BFPO (British Forces Post Office) addresses.

    We also now also ship to most European countries; Andorra, Austria, Balearic Islands, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canary Islands, Corsica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Sardinia, Sicily, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey & Vatican City State. Delivery times and costs are increased for international shipping and are shown clearly in checkout.

    We are unable to ship to America or the rest of the world at this time.

    Please note that customers placing orders outside the UK may be subject to import customs fees, which are not included in the order total and are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking with your local customs office for information before placing your order.

  • Of course! In the checkout screen un-tick the “billing address is the same as delivery address” box, and enter an alternative delivery address. Simples! Please note, the recipient must be over the age of 18 and will need ID to receive the order.

  • STANDARD DELIVERY is £4.95. Delivery usually takes 2-3 working days if ordered before 7pm.

    EXPRESS DELIVERY is £5.95. Delivery usually takes 1-2 working days if ordered before 7pm.

    Delivery is free for all UK orders over £100.

    Deliveries are made Monday-Saturday. 

    We use courier services that require age verification on delivery. Valid ID as proof of age of the recipient will be required upon delivery.

    If you choose to make any additional payments directly to a courier for any form of upgrade or custom service, The Rum Company is not liable for any refunds for this cost. Any issues with an upgraded service must be handled between the customer and the courier.

    International shipping from £17 varies depending on the destination country and the quantity.

  • Yes, but first, you have to sign up for a trade account here.

  • Yes, we do as we use Royal Mail for most of our orders! But your order needs to be 2 bottles or fewer, or we will send with DPD which does not deliver Saturdays.

  • We are sorry your rum hasn’t arrived yet. 99% of deliveries will be with you within 2 days, and all orders are fully tracked so if you have waited longer than 3 working days, then please check your emails (from DPD) as you may need to re-arrange another delivery. If your missing order is a Rum Club box, please wait till the 10th of the following month after your order was placed.

  • All Rum Club boxes are shipped at the start of each month, not when you placed the order. The orders are shipped on the 1st of the month and should arrive around the 7th. If you order on the 1st, for example, your first box will be with you at the start of the following month.

  • We are always looking to expand our range and keep offering our customers something new!  If you’ve got some rum that is ready to sell, then fill out the form here and let’s see what we can do! We can also assist you in promoting your rum by creating adverts, organising competitions, and even helping you with branding if required.

  • If your delivery was damaged before it got to you, message us with photos of the damage and we can arrange a refund or replacement options as appropriate. 

  • We try our best to reply to all emails within 24 hours. The most likely issue is our reply has probably ended up in your junk box.

  • Yes, we do! You can get a voucher here! Vouchers are available from £15. If you’re not quite sure which rum to choose for someone special this is the best option for you! Every purchased gift card has a unique code. When a customer purchases a gift card, they can email the code to their recipient or themselves.

  • We accept Visa (credit and debit cards), MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay & PayPal. If you have any checkout issues, please contact us and we will help you out.

  • We are environmentally conscious and always strive to use recyclable and sustainable packaging where possible, whilst trying not to pass additional costs onto the customer. We currently use a combination of recyclable air sacs, cardboard, and a carbon-neutral delivery company (DPD) for all our shipping.

  • We are sorry to hear that you didn’t get on with your rum; they are all different so guess we can’t like them all?! If it’s just the taste you don’t like, then unfortunately we’re unable to offer a refund, but if there is something wrong with the product, such as damage or an incorrect order, then get in touch. Any issues with the product itself, please contact the manufacturer, whose details will appear on the packaging or label.

  • Rums come in all sorts of varieties and flavours. Our shop can be organised by some of the main types, and our visual bar chart of tasting notes can be found on every product page to help you decide between them all. We also have a handy Rum Finder that should help you find what you need. Don’t forget to look at the ABV (alcohol by volume), as some rums are overproof so pack a punch!

  • The best place to start is our Sale Rums! Make sure you are following our Facebook & Instagram if you want to be the first to know of any offers. You can also sign-up for our newsletter to keep up to date with the latest rum news, special offers, and exclusive discounts.

  • Please place any orders for Christmas by 11am, 20th December with EXPRESS DELIVERY to allow for any possible delays in shipping. We also wanted to let you know we will be shipping with a limited service between 22nd December 2023 - 2nd January 2024. You will still be able to place orders, but any made between these dates may take slightly longer than our usual targets.

  • Rum is alcoholic, and therefore is an age restricted product, falling under age restricted laws. This makes it an offence to purchase if you are under the age of 18. By adding rum to your basket you are confirming you are 18 or over. Anyone under 18 will be forced to walk the plank, but, no really, this is serious, no under 18’s please.
