Ron Cabezon Botanical Rum (70cl, 41%)
‘Wilfully uncompromising’ - the name ‘cabezon’ means pig-headed in Spanish.
Golden 5yr aged Caribbean rum is split into two batches in the cooler climate of Scotland - one batch to macerate, one batch to infuse with botanicals. The two batches are then rekindled and blended with pure Royal Deeside Spring water.
Rich with tropical fruits, Madagascan vanilla, sweet Aberdeenshire honey with light smoke and oak wood spice. Unique notes of Arabian cubeb (think all spice and black pepper) and West African Kola nut.
Smooth, clean and unique.

Feeling inventive? Try a ‘Ron Cabezon Mai Tai’. Hard shake with ice, 50ml Ron Cabezon Botanical Rum, 20ml orgeat syrup, 20ml orange liqueur (Cointreau) and 20ml lime juice. Serve in a Martini glass and garnish with fresh mint and a spiked Maraschino cherry… and put on some smooth jazz.
