This incredible Rum was distilled in 2010 and placed into an ex-Bourbon Whiskey cask. Its first five years were spent tropically ageing in the parish of Saint Philips, Barbados, in the Eastern Caribbean before being shipped across the Atlantic to the UK, where the Rum was re-filled into an ex-Scotch Whisky cask for a further eight years of continental ageing before being bottled by House of Rum in 2023.
Nose – Wonderful bouquet of freshly baked bread, complemented by notes of creamy butter and sun-dried fruits.
Palate – Delightful array of tropical fruits such as ripe banana, mango, and lemon, accompanied by subtle spicy hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish is remarkably long, smooth, and harmonious, reiterating the elegant blend of fruity and spicy flavours.

A powerful rum from the Worthy Park distillery, bottled at 63.4% ABV. It offers earthy, robust flavours of molasses, dried fruit, and leather, with a smooth, rich finish that lingers.
Barbados 2010. Foursquare distillery 60.5% ABV
Crafted by the Foursquare distillery, this rum presents an ABV of 60.5%. It has a bold, flavourful profile with notes of vanilla, oak, and dried fruit, complemented by a rich, spicy finish.
Dominican Republic 2000. Oliver Y Oliver. 55.5% ABV
This rum from Oliver Y Oliver is bottled at 55.5% ABV. It features complex notes of toffee, dark chocolate, and a rich molasses backbone, finishing with a smooth, mellow warmth.
Venezuela 2005. CADC. 57% ABV

Trinidad 2012. Trinidad Distillers. 64.3% ABV

A cask-aged, limited edition batch of only 30 bottles at a time. Solent Spirits signature white rum aged in second-fill, lightly charred European oak barrels. Handsome notes of toasted sugar, treacle, dark caramel, earthy spice, oak wood and light smoke from the charred barrel ageing. Underlying delicate hints of tropical fruit, creamy coconut and citrus notes.

A rare and meticulously aged single-cask rum from the renowned Chamarel Distillery, the Mauritius 2014 is a testament to expert craftsmanship and terroir-driven excellence. Crafted from molasses in a column still, it undergoes a unique maturation journey—three years in tropical Guatemalan ex-rum casks, followed by eight years in ex-Scotch whisky barrels. This careful ageing process defines its exceptional character.
DARSA, Guatemala’s top rum producer, famed for Botran and Ron Zacapa, benefits from the Hondo River region’s humid, tropical climate. At 185 metres above sea level, this environment accelerates maturation, resulting in light, medium-bodied rums with a distinct character and moderate sweetness.
Nose – Luscious notes of cacao and milk chocolate intertwine with a subtle, toasted nuttiness and gentle aromas of winter spices.
Palate – Velvety, with rich chocolate flavours, complemented by notes of coffee and nutty tones of walnuts and toasted nuts. Dry red apples and a subtle hint of spices follow with a satisfying, lingering finish.
