Rum punch

With this classic tropical sweet and sour fruity cocktail its always the weekend.


INGREDIENTS

150ml rum (light, dark or coconut)
175ml orange juice
75ml lime juice
50ml sugar syrup
Dash of grenadine
Dash of Angostura bitters
Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
Slice of orange and maraschino cherries to garnish


Method

1. Combine the rum, fruit juices, sugar syrup, grenadine and Angostura bitters in a pitcher, stir and leave to chill in the fridge for 1 hour.

2. Serve over ice, add a generous pinch of freshly grated nutmeg and garnish with slices of orange and maraschino cherries.
